The personal data I collect
If I’ve given you a quote or done work for you, I may hold your name and basic contact details such as your phone number and your email address. My website also collects some personal data (IP address, how you navigate the site etc.)
How I collect personal data
My clients usually give me their personal contact details via social media or email.
How I store and process data
I store your data in Word documents on my computer and within my emails and social media messages. Your data may also be stored in cookies processed by WordPress.
How I use your data
If you contact me for an initial chat or a quote, I’ll use the data I collect to fulfil your request. You can also sign up to follow my blog posts.
I won’t spam you, but if you’ve worked with me before, I might send you an occasional email if I think I can help you with something. If you’d rather I didn’t, please feel free to let me know by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
My website uses HTTPS/SSL security, my computer is protected by security software and I back up my data to external storage.
If you’ve used my services, UK tax law requires me to keep you basic personal data (name, address contact details) for 6 years. After this I will destroy it.
If you’d like to tell me about any changes or ask a question about how I hold your data, you can contact me at: email@example.com.
